Poll - Quebecers believe that the Canadian government should speak out more strongly against the Chinese government on human rights issues

StratComTendances Inc. found that 65.38% of Quebecers think the Canadian government should do more to denounce the actions of the Chinese government. Only 12.9% would be against it, while a high rate of 21.72% are undecided on this issue.

The question asked in the telephone survey was: "Do you agree that the Canadian government should speak out more strongly against the Chinese government in relation to human rights?"

The study took place during the week of March 8, 2021 where 1295 people participated in the telephone study giving this survey a margin of error of 3.5%, 19 times out of 20.
